Prateek Maheshwari – Managing Director
He primarily manages the affairs of the Company. Having worked in the US for over 6 years in the Travel Gear industry, he possesses vast experience in the field of Brand Licensing and Fashion Gear manufacturing. He is a new age marketer, spearheading the Brand Licensing Business to become the pioneers in the bags/ travel gear market in India. He is looking after policy matters, organisational development and overall administration of our Company. His role in the Company as Managing Director of the Company is most suitable considering his present role in the Company’s day to day management.
Abhinav Kumar – Whole Time Director & CEO
Abhinav began his career in advertising, which offered him a deep understanding of consumer behaviour and communication strategy. A defining chapter in his career saw Abhinav lead the marketing activities at Tommy Hilfiger India during his tenure with The Murjani Group. Under his adept leadership, Tommy Hilfiger not only achieved unprecedented milestones but also expanded its horizons by venturing into 10 diverse product categories. He was also part of the core team that was instrumental in ushering renowned international labels like Calvin Klein, FCUK, Jimmy Choo, Gucci, and Bottega Veneta into the Indian market.
Ms. Annapurna Maheshwari – Non-executive Director
Bringing a wealth of experience, Ms Annapurna Maheshwari, is the non-executive director, having served on our Company’s board since 2015. Her journey began in the early 80s, a time when working women were a rarity in India. Undeterred by the challenges, she pioneered the establishment of ‘Sunny Selections,’ a garment factory specialising in children’s wear. Her remarkable career trajectory led her to the Board of Directors of IFF Group in 1994, where her core strengths in Designing & Production have played a pivotal role. Her active participation continues to significantly contribute to the strategic vision and growth of the organisation.
Mr. Kushagra Praveen Toshniwal
With a robust background spanning 15 years in Marketing and Sales, Mr Kushagra Praveen Toshniwala actively engages in his family’s business, which focuses on manufacturing and distributing measuring instruments, he has successfully expanded its horizons. As an active Director in Nivo Instruments Private Limited and Toshbro Controls Private Limited, he has demonstrated his strategic acumen. His extensive business acumen aligns seamlessly with our vision at BCL, and we believe that his presence in our Management Team will not only fortify our current strengths but also enhance our business potential.
Mr. Narendra Tulsidas Kabra – Independent & Non-executive Director
Mr. Narendra Tulsidas Kabra brings specialised expertise in Credit Business, Credit Risk Management, Information Technology, and Human Resources. With a track record of serving as a distinguished vertical head across various banking portfolios, his success is not confined to managerial roles; he has demonstrated considerable on-field prowess.His broad and in-depth experience in the business landscape is a significant asset to our company. Under his strategic guidance, we anticipate reaching new milestones and advancing our organisational capabilities to greater heights.
Mr. Manish Saksena – Independent & Non-executive Director
A seasoned Lifestyle specialist with an impressive 21-year track record,Mr Manish Saksena, brings comprehensive expertise in Design, Product Management, Marketing, Store Design, and Visual Merchandising within the Retail Industry. His significant contributions have been pivotal in effecting landmark changes in the Indian Lifestyle Industry. Instrumental in shaping the retail landscape, he has played a key role in introducing International Brands to the Indian market and successfully nurturing homegrown brands. His experience ranges from managing flagship retail outlets in metros to spearheading emergence and expansion strategies in Tier 2 cities.
Mr. Govind Shridhar Shrikhand – Independent & Non-executive Director
A seasoned retail professional, Mr Govind Shrikhand, has an illustrious career spanning 34 years, he boasts rich expertise in the complete spectrum from Fabrics to Apparel. His impactful journey includes key roles at renowned companies such as Mafatlal, Johnson, Arvind, Bombay Dyeing, and Shoppers Stop, where he has made substantial contributions. Serving as an Independent Director on the boards of V Mart Retail, IR & H Pvt Ltd, and Donear Industries Ltd, his strategic insights have added significant value. Recipient of numerous awards and credited with single-handedly reshaping the retail industry, his presence on our board promises breakthroughs and sets the stage for upcoming landmarks to unfold.
